First held in 2020, Orchestra Wellington’s Big Bash is an annual mass play-in event which brings together hundreds of instrumentalists from across the Wellington region in a glorious afternoon of music-making.
Conducted by Orchestra Wellington’s Music Director Marc Taddei, together we will rehearse then perform a selection of much-loved works. Watch this space for the release of the repertoire. Anyone is welcome to come along and watch both the rehearsal and the performance entirely for FREE. Our 2025 Big Bash will be on Sunday 4 October at the Lower Hutt Events Centre. Rehearsal runs from 1-3pm with the concert starting at 3:30pm.
