The Royal New Zealand Ballet brings back Liam Scarlett’s enchanting A Midsummer Night’s Dream this festive season! 

Created for the Royal New Zealand Ballet by Liam Scarlett, A Midsummer Night’s Dream was an overnight sensation at its premiere, with capacity audiences throughout its first New Zealand tour, followed by successful performances in Hong Kong in 2016. This production features stunning set and costume designs by distinguished New Zealand designer Tracy Grant Lord, brilliant lighting by Kendall Smith, and Mendelssohn’s iconic music.  

Audiences of all ages will be enchanted by the whimsical choreography, Shakespeare’s timeless characters, and the fantastical world brought to life on stage. Laughter, tenderness, and a sprinkling of magic make this a performance not to be missed.
